High Street

For centuries the High Street has been the main shopping area of the village and has little changed over the years; apart from an influx of cars and a few yellow lines. Shops at the west end, with the majority towards the east have a lively trade although goods have changed to reflect modern requirements. Many businesses are still family owned and have been trading on the same premises for decades.
